Undefined Algebraic Fractions Worksheets
What Are Undefined Algebraic Fractions? Algebraic fractions are the ones that have algebraic expressions in its numerator or denominator or both numerator and denominators. Solving algebraic fractions is similar to solving arithmetic fractions. There are cases in mathematics where there is no solution to a problem because some numbers are undefined or undetermined. Algebraic fractions can also be undefined when the denominator of these fractions equals zero. Such fractions have no meaning. Every algebraic fraction becomes undefined at a specific value of the variable. Consider a fraction 5/(x-2). Here the fraction will be undefined at x=2.
