Even or Odd Worksheets

What makes a number even or odd? It all about numbers in mathematics. The more we understand the numbers, the better it is for us to get a grip over mathematics. Even or odd numbers is among the first few things we learn about mathematics as kids. it is one of the ground concepts of mathematics that helps us build other mathematical concepts over it. Any integer that is divisible by 2 is an even number. An example of even numbers is 0, -24, 16, 8. All these numbers are divisible by 2 and are slotted as even numbers. On the other hand, any integer that is not divisible 2 is called an odd number. These numbers, when divided by 2 give the answer in fractions or decimals and this is why they are slotted as odd numbers. An example of odd number is 1, 3, -17, 35, 97 etc. It is important to note that odd numbers always lie in between even numbers. Another way to identify even and odd numbers is to carefully observe the numbers. All even numbers end at even numbers like 0, 2, 4, 6, and so on, while odd numbers end on odd numbers like 1, 3, 5, 7, and so on.

Albert Einstein on Mathematics:

"Do not worry too much about your difficulties in mathematics, I can assure that mine are still greater." One of the world's greatest minds had his own struggles with math.
