As most children throughout the world are in quarantine due to the global pandemic, let’s use the time wisely to get help your kids get better at mathematics. Start with providing activities to your kids that enrich their computational capabilities. Make it all fun and easy. For example, you can have a helping hand from your kids by allowing them to put out bowls for dinner, all the while counting them. Make them fold the napkins in different geometrical shapes such as; triangle, square, and rectangle. Make them identify similar shape objects in the house like a square window and square television. Have them measure ingredients while baking a cake and identify similar items when they take them out for groceries. Allow them to compare prices of items and figure out which one is more, and which is less. The idea is to instill and develop mathematical concepts of your child to make it fun and more accessible for them.
