Rational Equations Worksheets
What Are Rational Equations? A rational equation is an equation that contains at least one fraction whose numerator and denominator are polynomials. These fractions can be on one or both sides of the equation. A common way to resolve these equations is to decrease the fractions to a common denominator and then solve the equality of the numerators. Solve rational equations by clearing the fractions through multiplying both sides of the equation by the least common denominator commonly known as (LCD). The major properties of rational numbers are: Closure, Commutativity, Associative, and Distributive Property.
