# Factoring Trinomials Worksheets

How to Factor Trinomials? Polynomial expressions are the basic necessities for solving polynomial functions. A trinomial, on the other hand, is an expression with 3 terms. A trinomial may be quadratic in nature, but that’s not the case every time. Let us consider the following examples, For example, you need to resolve x2 + 7x + 10 = 0. Then, you need to break 7x into 5x and 2x. The equation becomes x2 + 5x + 2x + 10 = 0. Now, you can create factors like (x + 2)(x + 5) = 0. Let us take another example, x2 + 5x + 6 = 0. Now, you need to break 5x to 6x and -x. The equation becomes x2 + 5x-x + 10= 0. Now, you can create factors (x + 2)(x + 3) = 0.
