# Fractions of Numbers Worksheets

How to Calculate Fractions of Numbers - Every number that exists can be written in a fractional form. Pretty cool to know if you weren't already aware of it. The concept behind writing every number in the fractional form is that even if a number is a whole number or a natural number, or even an integer if it has no denominator, there is always a "one" in the denominator. It means that the number "5" can be written as "5/1". It means that five is divided into only one part and that one part has a complete value of five. But in the case of decimal numbers, in most cases, a decimal number can be represented by a fraction. Here’s the technique of calculating the fractions of numbers. For instance, if we have a decimal number "1.5", at first, we leave the integral part that is "1" and consider it as the whole number, and we solve the decimal part. The decimal part, in this case, is 0.5, which is equal to half, and that is 1/2. So, we get our answer, which is '1' whole and 1/2. We can convert it into a fraction easily.
