Usually, once you create the equation, the problem seems easily solvable, and you are fine. But figuring out HOW to create that equations is what is actually the most difficult part! But do not worry, we can help you! All you have to do is follow a few steps! The first thing that you need to do is to read the entire question thoroughly. Make sure that you read the question entirely. Do not try doing anything before you have read the whole question first! The second step is to organize. Write the things that are given in the question. Then figure out what you need to find. Then, figure out what operation you need to perform, addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. If the word problem you need to solve are fractions, you will always spot the words like three fourth, one fifth, two thirds. and so on. Then, solve!

How to Write a Fraction in Words
Writing numbers in word form is a fun activity for young children. However, when writing fraction numbers needs to be carefully examined. In hindsight, fractions consist of two numbers separated by a slash. However, in word from, the two numbers can be separated by a hyphen. Let us take an example, you are given a pizza with 10 slices, and you have to separate them equally among 5 people. Now, you know that 2/10th will be provided to each person. Now, how do we spell it? We will spell it by two-tenths. In other words, each person will get two-tenths of the pizza.
Apple Splitting
A mom has 1 & 3/4 apples. She had two, but one had a bruise. If she wants to give half an apple to each child, how many get an apple? To divide fractions, we multiply by the reciprocal of the divisor, so 7/4 divided by 2 = 7/4 x 2/1 = 14/4 = 3. 3 children.
Two or more fractions can be added together, there are no limits to the number of fractions that can be added. You need to find the lowest common multiple that works with all of the fractions in the problem.
A fraction is nothing more than a division problem that has yet to be completed. Completing the problem will result in a decimal. To complete the problem, you divide the top number by the bottom number.
