Ordering Numbers Worksheets
How to Put Numbers in Order - What is math without numbers? Zero! Ha-ha! Well, with numbers come a lot of responsibilities! In math, there are lots of rules that need to be followed when you are solving questions. Let’s say that you have a question that demands you to put numbers in order, what will you do? If you don’t know, we can solve the question together! Here is what you have to do! The first step that you need to take is to read the numbers carefully. Second, count how many numbers there are altogether and note it down somewhere. There are generally two types of orders, ascending and descending. Ascending means the arrangement of numbers from the smallest to the biggest, and descending means the arrangement of numbers from the biggest to the smallest. Now, let us say that we are following the ascending order, pick the smallest number, and cut it off from the question. Now put the number that is bigger than your small number and tick it off the list. Keep doing it till you have the last and the biggest value. Now check whether the total numbers are equal to the value you wrote earlier. You are done!
